Prunus cerasifera Cherry Plum

The Cherry Plum is the white-flowered shrub you see in many hedgerows, flowering singly rather than the dense clusters of blossom seen on Blackthorn. It is probably under-recorded in mid and south Suffolk. Early spring is the time to look for it.
