ERMINE STOATS;
a further call

Early this year we had a brief, sharp spell of cold weather. It is possible that during that time some stoats in Suffolk turned white in response to the drop in temperature. Were any sighted by SNS members during that cold period? If you were lucky enough to see one, please send the record to the SBRC marked for my attention. Please include the date, place and of course the grid reference.

Any additional information you might think useful, such as whether the creature you saw was in full ermine or whether it was a pied specimen, will be much appreciated.
Thank you.
