Now that the national action plans for some of our scarcer Suffolk plants have been published, the time has come to write action plans for their conservation locally.
Martin Sanford has provided details of all the Suffolk records he holds
at the SBRC, but we both feel it is likely that there are others not on his files.
If you have any records for the following species in Suffolk which you have not sent to
SBRC, please send them to Martin or myself as soon as possible, together with date, parish
and grid reference, so we can get a better idea of distribution within our county.

Tower Mustard (Arabis glabra)
Cornflower (Centaurea cyanus)
Red-tipped Cudweed (Filago lutescens)
Red Hemp-nettle (Galeopsis angustifolia)
Pillwort (Pilularia globulifera)
Shepherd's-needle (Scandix pecten-veneris)
Small-flowered Catchfly (Silene gallica)
Great Water-parsnip (Sium latifolium)
Spreading Hedge-parsley (Torilis arvensis)
